Walking Tour Katendrecht

Together with Verhalenhuis Belvédère, we are organising a walking tour of Karendrecht with a guide. We follow the traces of migrants and discover the stories of their communities. 

Nowhere in Rotterdam are the stories of departure and arrival as visible and tanglible as in Katendrecht. The city has attracted people from all over the world. On 'de kaap' stories are waiting to be discovered. The first Chinatown in Europe, the Eastern European emigrants, the Greek floating traders, the Surinamese jazz musicians, the Cape Verdean sailors and the refugees of today.
